Qamea Island
On the northwestern end lies Naiiviivi Bay (Safe Harbor).Qamea (pronounced Ga-may-ah) is the twelfth largest island in the Fiji group. It lies about two miles across the Tasman Strait from the "Garden Isle" of Taveuni (The third largest of over 300 islands), and a quarter mile from Malcom Forbes island and resort called Laucala.

Qamea is about eight miles long and five miles wide and sort of amoeba shaped with miles of beaches and rain forest peaks rising up over 800 feet.

Temperatures usually range from 68°F to 90°FOn the northwestern end lies Naiiviivi Bay (Safe Harbor), the village of Naiiviivi, the Qamea Beach Club and our piece of Paradise we've chosen to call Coral Cove.

How to get there
There are three flights a day to Taveuni, two from Nadi (the International Airport(, and one from the capital city, Suva. You then take a boat across the Tasman Strait to Qamea. Be prepared to step onto the fluffy, white sand of Coral Cove.
