CREATIVE RETAILING'S HISTORY
Creative Retailing was founded in 1979 by retailing/designer, Clark Richey who established the following sound principles for his company's goals.
to change the nature of retailing in which both retailer and consumer benefit
implement bold marketing strategies that enhance sales and profits
to significantly increase the retailer's company image in the eyes of their potential customers.
Creative Retailing's first client, The Boston Store was signed just one month after Creative Retailing was founded. The first store was designed and implemented in only six weeks. The astounding results were so immediate that Creative Retailing was retained to design additional stores for the family apparel chain.
Aaron Brothers Art Mart, a 240 store art supply and picture frame chain and Miller's Outpost, a 350 store apparel chain soon enlisted the services of Creative Retailing. The success of each of their projects exceeded all expectations. As a result, both clients retained Creative Retailing as their exclusive store design firm. Creative Retailing has developed into a full-service, consulting and architectural firm to complement its store planning and design functions.
